Cyan Pictures is teaming up with Social Norm!

I had a great conversation with one of my best friend’s from high school yesterday–Robbie York. Robbie and I performed in several theater productions growing up such as My Fair Lady and Bye Bye Birdie. Robbie went to New York and I went to LA to pursue our careers. Over the years we’ve kept in touch and always kept each other motivated.

Robbie noticed a few of the Social Norm blogs I’ve been posting. He put me in contact with his oldest friend in New York, Joshua Newman, who happens to be a Yale grad and current CEO of Cyan Pictures.

Cyan Pictures produces and distributes independent films, bringing the best practices of high tech and venture finance to the wild west of making movies.

Joshua has a BS in Computer Science and Behavioral Neuroscience.

I’m very excited to have made this connection through Robbie and look forward to its fruition.
